Ms. Pallavi Dabholkar, A.P.P. for the State/respondent no.1. Coram : Smt. R. P. SondurBaldota, J.

Date : 25th January, 2017.

P.C. :

1.

The applicant has restricted the present application to prayer clause (a) by which he seeks direction to, the 13th Court of District and Sessions Judge, Pune, before whom regular bail application being Miscellaneous Application No. 3243 of 2016 is pending, for it's expeditious hearing and disposal, preferably either on the next date of hearing before him or within a period of two weeks from the date of the order in the petition.

2.

On 7th September, 2016, the applicant filed application seeking bail. The submissions thereon on his

ssk 2/2 APL 37/17-25/1/17 behalf were completed on 24th October, 2016. Since then the application is pending till date for the submissions on behalf of the State. Mr. Kadam, the learned Senior Advocate appearing for the applicant states that on 23rd January, 2017 the submissions on behalf of the State were partly advanced by the learned A.P.P. But thereafter the matter is being adjourned from time to time. It is unfortunate that the application for bail filed in the month of September, 2016 is not disposed of till date. Mr. Kadam states that the next date before the Sessions Court is of 27th January, 2017. In that circumstance, the present application is disposed off with a direction that the learned A.P.P. appearing before the Sessions Court shall complete his submissions on the bail application on that date and the Sessions Court shall pass the final orders thereon within a week thereafter i.e. on or before 3rd February, 2017. 3.

Parties to act upon authenticated copy of the order. [Smt. R. P. SondurBaldota, J.]
