While deciding Writ Petition No.3469 of 2021 on 5th July 2023, the Scrutiny Committee was directed to decide the caste claim of the original petitioner within a period of six months from the date of the petitioner's appearance before it. Since the enquiry is not yet completed, the Scrutiny Committee seeks extension of time to do so.

Considering the reasons mentioned in paragraph 3 of the interim application, the time to complete the proceedings is extended by a period of twelve weeks from today. It is made clear that no further extension of time will be granted.

Interim Application is disposed of.
