Heard the learned counsel for the Applicant, who has taken out an interim application for extension of the mandate of the Arbitrator in the arbitration proceedings. The application, being moved under Section 29-A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seek extension of the mandate by a period of one month, by informing that the proceedings are over for all purposes, but for declaration of the Award.

None represents the Respondent and as per the learned counsel for the Applicant, there appears to be no serious doubt about the stage of proceedings before the Arbitral Tribunal. M.M.Salgaonkar
