Heard learned Counsel for the applicant and learned APP. By an order dated 25th September, 2023 this Court has granted bail to the applicant on executing a P.R. bond of in the sum Rs.25,000/- with one or more sureties in the like amount. 37-IA-154-2024.doc economical condition the applicant could not arrange for surety and, therefore, prays for relaxing the condition by furnishing a cash security for a period of twelve weeks.

Learned APP objects the prayer by contending that the offence is quite serious. When this Court has already granted bail to the applicant, merely because he could not furnish surety in time would not disentitle him to be released on furnishing cash security instead of surety.

Having considered the facts and circumstances as above, the applicant be enlarged on furnishing cash security in the sum of Rs. 15,000/- for a period of twelve weeks. He shall furnish surety after twelve weeks.

Application stands disposed of.

In view of disposal of this Interim Application, Interim Application No. 4708 of 2023 shall also stand disposed of. [PRITHVIRAJ K. CHAVAN, J.] Rekha Patil
