The petitioner is seeking directions against the respondent no.1, police station to register an F.I.R. on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 22nd June 2017. The said complaint is in respect of a fake insurance cover note produced by the owner of the vehicle in Application No. 931 of 2015 before the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Mumbai. If the document in question is produced in the course of the proceeding, which is pending in the Tribunal, then it is for the Tribunal to take appropriate note of the same and issue

Dusane 2/2 51 wp 155.2018 appropriate directions. The petitioner can also bring the said fact to the notice of the Tribunal having regard to Section 340 Code of Criminal Procedure. Hence, there is no warrant to keep the above petition pending.

With the above observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
