...

Respondents None for the petitioner.

CORAM : SHANTANU KEMKAR & MAKARAND KARNIK, JJ.

DATED : AUGUST 12, 2016.

P.C.

The petitioner has challenged the order passed by Respondent No. 3, Superintendent of Police, Thane (Rural) dated 30th May, 2013 transferring 30 Police Inspectors and Assistant Police Inspectors in Thane District. The Supreme Court in various cases have categorically stated that in such matters, PIL would not be maintainable. Be that as it may, since no one is present for the petitioner.
