Mr. Vanarse, learned Counsel for the Petitioner seeks leave to amend the Petition so as to add prayer clause to direct the Respondent No. 1 to decide the Petitioner's representation dated 8/12/2015. Leave granted. Necessary amendment shall be be carried out forthwith. Mr. Vanarse, learned Counsel on the instructions makes a statement that the Petitioner does not press all reliefs prayed in this petition and restrict his petition to prayer clause (aa). Statement is accepted. The prayer clause (aa) is about direction to the respondent No. 1 Talwalkar

In that view of the matter, we deem it convenient to dispose of this petition by directing the Respondent No. 1 to decide the said representation dated 8/12/2015 as expeditiously as possible and in any case within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of this order. Ordered accordingly. It is made clear that we have not gone into the merits of the matter. All points and contentions of the respective parties are kept open. The Respondent No. 1 shall decide the representation independently, on its own merits and in accordance with law.
