The petition is filed seeking direction to transfer the investigation of the FIR No.234 of 2016 registered with Vakola Police Station, Mumbai to any other independent agency. The grievance of the petition is that, despite this FIR was registered on 11th May, 2016, till date of the filing of the petition, no progress is made in the investigation. 2.
Mrs.Pai, learned APP, on instructions of the officer concerned - Mr.Dattatraya Khade, PSI, who is present before the Court, makes a statement that the investigation into the said FIR is almost complete and an appropriate report would be filed within 15 days. In support of her statement, she has produced a report dated 27th April, 2017, of the Senior Police Inspector, Vakola Police Station, Mumbai. The said report is taken on record.

In the aforesaid circumstances, the grievance of the petitioner at this stage, no more survives. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
