On 14-1-2020, this court appointed Mr. Vaibhav S. Charalwar, as Amicus Curaie. Mr. Charalwar worked on the matter and dug out quite a few judgments on the questions of law involved. But on 17-1-2020, Mr. Pethe appearing for respondent no.1, informed the court that respondent no.1 has died and hence the appeal stands abated. Mr. Gabhale appearing for appellant, who was present on 17-1-2020, stated that he will seek instructions and by consent the matter was stood over to today. Today, Mr. Gabhale for appellant confirms that respondent no.1 has died.

In the circumstances, the appeal stands disposed. This court has to note that the compilation of judgments tendered by Mr. Charalwar, will be of use in other proceedings. (K.R. SHRIRAM, J.) Meera Jadhav
