By filing Writ Petition No.591 of 2016, the Petitioners have sought a direction to Respondent No.1 to regularise the structures in question. Writ Petition No. 2234 of 2015 is filed seeking direction to Thane Municipal Corporation to demolish the structures in question.

Mr. Pitale, the learned Counsel appearing for the Thane Municipal Corporation after taking instructions from Mr. Sandeep Sawant, Junior Engineer and Mr. Salunkhe, Law Officer of Thane Municipal Corporation, who are present in the Court, makes statement that Corporation has decided to provide alternate premises to the Petitioners in Writ Petition No.591 of 2016 and the structures in question would be demolished within 15 days from today.

In the light of above statement, learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioners in Writ Petition No.591 of 2016 seeks leave to withdraw the writ petition. Writ petition is allowed to be withdrawn and dismissed as such.

In so far as Writ Petition No.2234 of 2015 is concerned, in view of the statement made by Thane Municipal Corporation, the grievance of the Petitioner stands redressed. Hence, that writ petition is disposed of.
