By an order dated 14th January, 2016, the Applicant is protected by way of interim relief. The learned APP for the State on instructions submits that in pursuance to the said order, the Applicant has attended the Investigating Officer on the stipulated dates and has joined the process of investigation. She on instructions further submitted that custodial interrogation of the applicant is not necessary. However, she stated that till the filing of the chargesheet the Applicant may be restrained from entering into jurisdiction of the Badlapur Police Station as the minor victim girl is residing in the said jurisdiction. That there is every possibility that the Applicant may either threaten the victim girl and/or influence the witnesses.

spb/ 26aba55-16.doc In view of the above, the interim relief granted by order dated 14th January, 2016 is hereby confirmed with the condition that the Applicant shall not enter the jurisdiction of the Badlapur Police Station till the filing of the charge-sheet in C.R. No. 207 of 2015.
