The learned Counsel appearing for the respondents - Union of India has placed on record a communication issued by the Assistant Commandant dated 14.2.2018. Same is taken on record and marked "X" for identification. It is recorded in the letter that the Standing Screening Committee has found the petitioner suitable for appointment as CISF and offer of appointment will be issued as per training programme.

Since the respondents are taking positive steps in respect of the application tendered by the petitioner seeking employment, the grievance raised by the petitioner in the instant petition stands redressed.
