Heard. The learned counsel for the petitioner, at the outset, makes a statement that he would restrict the writ petition to relief claimed in prayer clause (b). Statement accepted. Prayer clause (b) reads as follows :- "b) This Hon'ble Court be pleased to issue a writ of mandamus, orders, directions or any other appropriate writ in that nature, directing the Respondent No.1 to decide the representation filed by the petitioner dated 22.11.2017 to the Respondent no.1 (Exhibit H hereto)"

In the light of above, we dispose of the petition by directing respondent No.1 to decide the petitioner's representation dated 22.11.2017 (a copy of which is annexed as Exhibit "H" to the petition) as expeditiously as possible, and in any case, within four weeks from today. Ordered accordingly.

It is made clear that we have not gone into merits of the matter and all points and contentions of the parties are kept open.

In order to enable respondent No.1 to comply with this order, the petitioner shall remain present before respondent No.1 on 2.4.2018 along with a copy of the said representation as also a copy of this order.
