Mr. Shinde, learned PP, on instructions of Mr. Dinesh Sawant, API, Mahim Police Station, who is present before the Court, makes a statement that Special Executive Magistrate, Mahim Division, Mahim, has decided not to proceed against the petitioners under the provisions of Section 107 read with Section 111 of the Criminal Procedure Code, 1973 since, the elections of Legislative Assembly are already over. The statement is accepted. In view of the statement, the grievance of the petitioners no more survives. The petition stands disposed of, accordingly.
