Having heard both sides and finding that the petitioners have an alternate equally efficacious remedy of challenging the order-in-original passed on 23rd December, 2016, by filing an appeal before the Central Excise and Service Tax Appellate Tribunal, the writ petition is disposed of as not pressed. However, in the event such an appeal is filed, the Tribunal may decide it expeditiously and preferably within a period of six months from the date of its institution.
