The learned Counsel for the petitioner on instruction submits that the petitioner has forwarded a proposal seeking approval to promote the present petitioner (at page 31). The same is not yet decided.

The learned AGP appears for respondent Nos.1 and 2. 3.

In case, the proposal seeking permission to promote the petitioner is pending with respondent No.2, the respondent No.2 shall decide the said proposal on its own merits in accordance with law expeditiously preferably within four weeks.

The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
