The writ jurisdiction of this court is invoked for quashing of the FIR which has been registered under Section 376 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code. The learned counsel for the Petitioner endeavoured to demonstrate before us that the relationship was such that the acts alleged against the Petitioner were arising out of the consensual relationship. Since the offence is under Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code, which is said to be an offence against the society. We do not deem it appropriate to exercise our writ jurisdiction.
