The learned Counsel for the Petitioners has placed on record an order dated 17th July, 2006 passed by this Court (Coram : R.S.Mohite,J.) wherein an application was made by consent of both the parties for compoundation of the offence under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act. The matter has been compounded pursuant to the order granting permission for composition of offence. The order is taken on record and marked as Article "X" for the purpose of identification.
