The remedy of the petitioners is to challenge the impugned order by way of second revision under section 257 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966 before the State Government. Learned counsel for the petitioners seeks liberty to withdraw this writ petition with liberty to file the revision application under section 257 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966 before the State Government.

It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views on the merit of the matter. All contentions on merit are kept open. It is made clear that the issue of limitation is kept open. 1/2
