The petitioner was convicted and as per the averments in the application, he completed his period of sentence. However, he was kept in jail as he could not deposit fine amount of Rs.9,000/-. 2.

By way of filing this petition, he prays that the said amount of Rs.9,000/- may be deducted from the amount of Rs.15,000/-, which according to him, he had deposited with the jail authority. 3.

The grievance relates back to the year 2017. Due to the passage of time as also in view of the fact that the application / petition filed by the petitioner suffers from lack of detailed particulars about the alleged amount of Rs.15,000/- deposited by him with the jail authority, we are not inclined to entertain this petition.

Hence, the petition stands disposed of.
