The civil application is for expediting the hearing of the writ petition. The dispute pertains to the year 1999 when the Petitioner was dismissed from service by the Respondent. The Petitioner's Complaint (ULP) No.262/2002 was dismissed by the Labour Court on 27 June 2006 and the order was confirmed in appeal by the Industrial Court on 26 September 2013. The Petitioner is a senior citizen over 65 years of age. The civil application is, accordingly, allowed and the petition is expedited, to come up for hearing on 28 April 2016. (S.C. Gupte, J.)
