Taken up from final hearing board. I am inclined to dispose of the present writ petition as it pertains to the issue of deletion of the petitioner's name from the final voter's list and addition of other names in the final voter's list. The petitioner has challenged an order dated 17th March, 2004 passed by the Maharashtra State Cooperate Appellate Court, Pune in Appeal from Order No.43 of 2004 which stands stayed. On 24th February, 2012 while admitting this petition, interim order so granted was continued. The effect is that the impugned order is stayed by this court and the order passed by this court has been in force till this date. The dispute is

Keeping all points open in the other proceedings, there is no point to keep this petition pending. The election process must have been over in the year 2004 itself. Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. All points are kept open. Rule is discharged accordingly.

In view of the above, Civil Application also stands disposed of. No costs.
