ORDER

The petitioner has already retired from service. On hearing learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, we are inclined to dispose of the present writ petition as the petitioner has an alternative remedy available to redress his grievances with regard to seniority and all related benefits. Therefore the petition is disposed of as alternative remedy is available.

However, considering the facts and circumstances that as the petitioner's representation is not yet decided by the authority though filed and is still pending, therefore in the interest of justice we direct the respondents to decide the representation as early as possible and preferaby
