The petitioner's grievance is that initially he was given police protection and lateron the protection was withdrawn. After the withdrawal of protection, it is contended that the petitioner was assaulted by accused persons. The petitioner applied for police protection. In a communication addressed to District Superintendent of Police, Vishrambaug, Sangli dated 11/12/2015 (Exhibit-E to the petition), the 1/2

Without expressing any opinion, we direct the District Superintendent of Police to assess the situation and take appropriate decision in respect of the application made by the petitioner at Exhibit-E and communicate the order to the petitioner.
