At the outset, learned A.P.P states that the prosecution has examined 6 witnesses and only 2 witnesses are left to be examined i.e. the Medical Officer and the Investigating Officer. 12-BA-239-2022.doc requests that the trial Court be directed to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible and within a particular time-frame. The application is accordingly disposed of as not pressed. It is made clear that this application has not been heard on merits. However, having regard to the fact that the applicant is in custody since 18th August 2016, the trial of the applicant is expedited. The learned Judge to conclude the case as expeditiously as possible and in any event, within three months from the date of receipt of this order. REVATI MOHITE DERE, J.
