The petition is filed for direction to respondent to forthwith consider the complaint made by the petitioners vide letter dated 12th September, 2014 and take appropriate action in accordance with law. 2.

Mr. Saste, learned APP having taken instructions from the concerned officer, states that in pursuance of the said complaint, the petitioner No.2 was called to Pydhonie Police Station, however, he did not come. He further submits that if the petitioners co-operate with the preliminary inquiry, his complaint would be considered and an appropriate decision would be taken and, thereafter, same would be communicated to the petitioner. Mr. Saraogi, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioner No.2 will remain present before the Pydhonie Police Station tomorrow i.e. 24th February, 2015 at 11.00 a.m. and contact Mr. Farid Khan, API, Pydhonie Police Station.

In the above circumstances, since the grievance of the petitioners stands redressed, there is no need to keep the petition pending and the same is, accordingly, dismissed.
