Called for Orders. This is a petition under Section 11(5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 by which the petitioner seeks appointment of Sole Arbitrator to adjudicate upon dispute in relation to Translation Agreement dated 8 th December, 2014.

Both parties have today agreed they are willing to submit to arbitration of a Sole Arbitrator nominated by the Court. In view of the above I pass the following order :

(i) All disputes and differences between the Petitioner and Respondent in relation to the Translation Agreement dated 8 th December, 2014 at 1/2 6-ARP-17-2020.doc rrpillai

Exhibit A to the petition are referred to Shri R. M. Savant, Former Judge of this Court who will act as Sole Arbitrator.

(ii) A copy of this order will be communicated to the learned Sole Arbitrator by the Advocates for the Applicant within one week from the date this order is uploaded. In addition, within one week of this order being uploaded, the Registry will forward an ordinary copy of this order to the learned Sole Arbitrator.

(iii) The learned Sole Arbitrator is requested to forward the necessary statement of disclosure under Section 11(8) read with Section 12(1) of the Arbitration Act to the "Registrar (Judicial-I) of this Court at his earliest convenience before entering upon the reference to arbitration. Copies will be given to both sides.

(iv) Petition disposed in the above terms.

(v) No costs.
