The Divisional Commissioner, Pune Division, Pune has sent a communication dated 6th October 2022 to the Public Prosecutor, High Court, Mumbai. A copy of which is produced on record. As per the said communication, there is no record with the office of the Divisional Commissioner, Pune about the Application filed by the Petitioner for extension of parole leave and therefore, the said office could not take any decision on it.

According to us, the present Petition is misconceived and is accordingly disposed off.

We however make it clear that, the Petitioner will be at liberty to file fresh application for parole leave, if permissible under the law and the rules framed thereunder.
