The Petitioner(s) in these petitions contends that they are project affected persons and the lands allotted to Borey 1/2

spb/ 8&10wp1223-1238-19.odt them have been taken away, as a result of withdrawal of the acquisition, under which the lands were made available to the petitioners, being project affected persons. The petitioners have tendered applications for allotment of another land, since the lands allotted to them have been taken away. The applications tendered by the petitioners before the District Rehabilitation Officer are pending since 2018 and as such the petitioners are praying for issuance of direction for expeditious disposal of their applications.

Therefore, this petition can be disposed of by directing the District Rehabilitation Officer, Pune to take decision on the applications tendered by the Petitioners, in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight weeks from today and it is accordingly directed.
