Petitioners and respondent no.3 are jointly requesting to quash the FIR and consequential criminal case registered on the report of respondent no. 3. The sections invoked are 498A, 406 read with 34 PC.

Parties are present with their respective advocates and state that the matrimonial dispute is amicably settled by them and accordingly consent terms have been filed on affidavit. Parties have obtained talak-e-mubrat by mutual consent on 16/1/2020.

Parties have made request earlier also on 21/2/2020 and thereafter on 28/2/2020. The court was not satisfied about the treatment to welfare of the child Maryam. The father has today given affidavit undertaking to support daughter Maryam to the extent possible. We accept the affidavit and undertaking. 4.
Petitioner no.1 and respondent no. 3 are present today also. They reiterate their request. Accordingly, accepting the joint request, we make the rule absolute in terms of prayer clause (b).
