In the matrimonial dispute registered as Petition No. A/2010/2018 in 4th Family Court at Bandra, Mumbai, consent terms for divorce have already been filed by the parties and those proceedings have been converted into one for grant of decree of divorce by mutual consent.

Respondent no.1 has filed affidavit separately giving no objection for quashing of the criminal prosecution instituted by nilegaonkar 1/2

When enquired she has expressly stated that she has not claimed any alimony and does not need the same. In view of this express statement and request reiterated by her, we make the rule absolute in terms of prayer clause (a).
