This is an application for condonation of delay of about 112 days in filing an Appeal challenging the judgment and order of conviction recorded against the Applicant by the learned Designated Judge, under the POCSO Act, 2012 for Greater Bombay. None appears for the Applicant.

Heard the learned APP appearing for the State. She opposed the Application by contending that averments in the Application does not depict sufficient cause for condonation of delay. 3.

Perused the Application. The Applicant/accused is undergoing jail sentence imposed by the learned Designated Judge.

Rng 2 He is seeking to challenge that Judgment by filing an Appeal. Averments in the Application and more particularly those in para 6,7 and 8 reflects sufficient cause. Hence, the following order:
