None present for the applicant, when called out. I find that two Applications made by the applicant previously, for suspending the sentences imposed upon him during the pendency of the Appeal, were rejected. The second rejection was on 21st October 2015. 2.

Under these circumstances and when the applicant has not chosen to remain present through his counsel and make submissions in support of the Application, I do not think that a case for reconsidering the matter has been made out.

However, even after hearing him, I am not inclined to reconsider the question of suspending the sentences imposed upon the applicant and releasing him on bail. However, in the circumstances, the Appeal needs to be heard expeditiously.
