The present application is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking quashment of the proceedings filed by the respondent before the Judicial Magistrate First Class, Dahanu, District-Palghar under Section 12 read with 17, 18 and 19 of the Domestic Violence Act. The said proceedings are filed in the month of January 2017. 2.

On 27th February 2017 the matter was listed before the Court and since none appeared for the applicant, it was posted on 06th March 2017 for dismissal. On 06th March 2017 leave to amend was granted and the matter was posted on 14th N.S. Kamble page 1 of 2

This is only indicative of the fact that the applicant is not interested in prosecuting the matter. In such circumstances the Criminal Application is dismissed for want of prosecution.
