P.C. :
The petitioners are the owners of land being Block No.268/A situated in village- Terwad, taluka- Shirol, districtKolhapur. The land was subject matter of acquisition for rehabilitation of the project affected persons of the Doodhganga Dam Project. The petitioners have relied upon the orders dated 10th April 1991 passed by the Additional Commissioner, Pune and order 7th May 2007 passed by the Special Land Acquisition Officer No.12, Kolhapur by which the respondents have deleted the land from acquisition.
skn 2/2 2018.16-wp.sxw 2.
The grievance of the petitioners is that despite these orders the respondents have not given effect to the said orders and necessary action to delete the name of respondent No.3 from the revenue records pertaining to the said land has not been undertaken. The petitioners are, therefore, before us in the present petition. 3.
Considering the prayers as made in the writ petition for direction to the respondents to give effect to comply the orders dated 19th April 1991 and 7th May 2007, we consider it appropriate to dispose of this petition by directing the respondents to comply with the said orders within a period of 10 weeks from today, in the event the respondent is of the opinion that the said orders are legal, valid and subsisting.
4.
The petition is disposed of in the above terms. No costs. (G.S.KULKARNI, J.) CHIEF JUSTICE
