At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave to amend to mask the name of the respondent No.3/prosecutrix and replace it with an alphabet not only in the cause title but wherever it appears in the petition. Leave granted. Amendment to be carried out forthwith.

By this petition, the petitioner seeks quashing of the FIR bearing C.R. No. 313 of 2018 registered with the Arnala Police N. S. Chitnis 1/2

15-wp.240.2022.doc Station, Palghar, for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 376 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code. Quashing is sought on the premise, that the parties have amicably settled their dispute. 3.

Learned APP on instructions of PSI - Ashok Sapkal, attached to Arnala Police Station, Palghar, states that the police after investigation has filed a 'C' Summary Report, in the said case on 7th August 2020.

In view of the aforesaid statement made by the learned APP, on instructions that 'C' Summary Report is filed, learned counsel for the petitioner does not press this petition and seeks leave to withdraw the same.
