1] At the outset, the learned APP submitted that, after rejection of the application filed by the applicant under Section 227 of the Criminal Procedure Code, the Trial Court has framed charge and evidence of two witnesses has already been recorded. 2] In view thereof, the present application has become infructuous and is accordingly disposed off.

3] The applicant is at liberty to agitate his contention with respect to applicability of provisions of Section 13(1)(d) to the said case in view of the Amendment Act 16 of 2018 [The Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988] thereby substituting Section 13 at the time of hearing of the arguments of the said trial.
