Heard learned counsel for the applicant. Learned counsel for the applicant on instructions seeks leave to withdraw this application. A request is made that the trial be expedited as the applicant is in custody for more than 4 years.

The request is reasonable. The bail application is allowed to be withdrawn. The trial Court is requested to expedite the trial and conclude the same within 9 months from today. I am informed that the stage of the trial is 'for evidence'. In case the trial is not concluded by then, liberty to apply for bail. 3.
