Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the appellant and the learned APP for the State, jointly state that the respondent has expired on 22 December 2020 and therefore, nothing survives in this appeal. The learned APP also tendered a copy of the death certificate of respondent along with a letter dated 11 October 2023 of the Police Inspector, Ayesha Nagar Police Station, which is taken on record and marked as 'X' for identification. 2.

In view of this, nothing survives in the appeal. The appeal stands disposed of accordingly.
