Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.

We have perused the record and considered the submissions. We find that the Investigation Agency shall investigate into the allegations made in broader prospects. It is necessary for the Investigating Agency to investigate as to whether the transaction of sale and purchase of Adivasi land has been done in flagrant violation of mandatory laws and whether such transactions have taken place in other cases 1/2
17) wp261-16 too. Information of such transactions shall be forwarded to the Collector, Palghar.

Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that except mere allegations made against the petitioner, there is no material collected to show involvement of the petitioner in the subject crime.

Counsel submitted that the petitioner is an R.P.F. constable. Learned APP submits that investigation is going on and some material is collected in respect of involvement of the petitioner. At this stage, we are not inclined to make any observation.

In the facts of the case, we direct the investigation officer to complete the investigation expeditiously and file appropriate report. Keeping all issues open of the petitioner, the petition is disposed of.

Registry to forward copies of this order to the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone XII, Mumbai and the Collector, Palghar.
