The Petitioner has been disqualified as a Sarpanch of Grampanchayat Yawat, Taluka: Daund, District: Pune by the Addl.Collector. Admittedly the Petitioner preferred an Appeal against the said order, which is pending consideration of the Addl.Commissioner, Pune Region,Pune. The stay Application filed by the Petitioner has been rejected. 2.

Without entering into merits of the controversy, we direct the Add.Commissioner, Pune Region, Pune to decide the Appeal filed by the Petitioner within four weeks from the date of receipt of communication of this order on its own merits. During this period the charge of Sarpanch be handed over to Deputy Sarpanch. All contentions on merits are kept open. 3.

The Petition is disposed of.
