Having heard learned Counsel for the petitioner, in our considered view, the petition can be conveniently disposed of by directing the Appellate Authority, namely the respondent no.3 to dispose of the petitioner's appeal bearing No.293 of 2014 filed under Section 60 of the Bombay Police Act, if not disposed of earlier, as early as possible and preferably within a period of four weeks from today.
