This is an application seeking condonation of delay in filing appeal against conviction. The applicant herein is convicted for the offence punishable under Section 3(2) and 3(4) of MCOC Act and sentenced to suffer R.I. for ten years and fine of Rs.5 lakhs in default R.I. for 3 years. There is delay of 87 days in filing the appeal. 3.

For the reasons assigned in paragraph 5 of the application, the delay in filing the appeal deserves to be condoned in the interest of justice.
