The present Petition takes exception to the order dated 08.08.2022 passed by Respondent No.2 in Appeal No.21 of 2022. 4.

Mr. Sawant, learned AGP would submit that the Petitioner has filed a substantive review Application against the impugned order before Respondent No.1 - State on 15.11.2022 and in that view of the matter, the present Writ Petition is not maintainable. Considering that the substantive review proceeding has been filed and the same has not been decided since long. Respondent No.1 is directed to decide the review Application as expeditiously as possible and in any event within

44.wp.1110.23.doc a period of four weeks from today. Respondent No.1 is directed to give a hearing to the Petitioner and pass a reasoned order after hearing the Petitioner.

Respondent No.1 - State shall not be influenced by any observations and findings made in the impugned order. 6.
