Having heard Mr. Sabrad, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Sawant, learned AGP for the State, we deem it convenient to dispose of the petition by directing the respondent No.3 - Deputy Collector (Rehabilitation) and District Rehabilitation Officer, Pune, to decide the petitioner's representation/application dated 28th February, 2014, a copy of which is annexed at Exhibit B, page 18, as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of this order. Ordered accordingly. 2.
Needless to mention that we have not gone into the merits of the matter and all rights and contentions of the respective parties are kept expressly open. The respondent No.3 shall decide the petitioner's Shubhada S Kadam 1/2

In order to enable the respondent No.3 to comply with this order, the petitioner shall remain present before him on 12th February, 2018 along with copy of the said representation/application as well as copy of this order.
