1] By an order dated 19th January 2017 the applicant was granted interim relief.
2] The record reveals that the wife of the present applicant who is sister of the first informant Mr. Tukaram Dalvi has lodged CR No.118 of 2015 against the applicant for the offence under Sections 498A, 325, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code. The allegation in the present crime made by the first informant is that, on 9.1.2017 two persons who had covered their faces with mask snatched his documents and cellphone and extended threats that in the event if the first informant prosecutes earlier complaint i.e. CR No.118 of 2015, he would have to face dire-consequences.

In pursuance of Order dated 19.1.2017, the applicant has attended the Investigating Officer and has joined the process of investigation. In view of the peculiar facts mentioned herein-above, this Court is of the view that the custodial interrogation of the applicant is not necessary.
4] Hence, the interim relief granted by Order dated 19.1.2017 is hereby confirmed.
