By this petition, the Petitioner has sought a direction to register an offence under section 302 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 against the persons named in his complaint. Mrs. Pai, learned APP having taken instructions, makes a statement that subsequent to the filing of writ petition, the offence has been registered against the husband and in-laws of the deceased for the offence punishable under sections 302, 498A, 323, 504 and 506 read with of IPC. She further submitted that husband and in-laws of deceased, in all five, came to be arrested in the said crime and after completion of investigation, charge-sheet is filed on 23rd October 2018 and proceeding is patilsr 1 / 2

numbered as RCC No. 1354 of 2018. Statement accepted. In the light of statement, grievance raised in the writ petition no more survives. Hence, petition is disposed of.
