By this petition, the petitioner seeks issuance of writ of mandamus or any other writ directing the Senior Inspector of Police, Dindoshi Police Station, to register the case of the petitioner against Raju J. Bhautkar and his associates. 1/3

From a perusal of the papers, it appears that the petitioner had filed a complaint with the Dindoshi Police Station, sometime in February 2013 and the petitioner's statement was recorded on 27th February 2013. It further appears that vide communication dated 7th November 2013, the concerned Officer of Dindoshi Police Station, Mumbai has communicated to the petitioner that the complaint has been `filed', since the dispute is civil in nature.

When confronted with the same, learned counsel for the petitioner sought leave to withdraw the same so as to enable the petitioner to adopt appropriate proceedings as maintainable in law.

Petition is accordingly disposed of as withdrawn. Needless to state that it is always open for the 2/3

petitioner to adopt appropriate proceedings, as may be maintainable in law.
