This Writ Petition filed by the Petitioner / Husband challenges an order dated 6 October 2022, thereby challenging the order passed by the Family Court, Mumbai of interim maintenance.

Advocate for the Petitioner / Husband submits that pursuant to the directions given by this Court, her client has 1/3

already deposited a sum of Rs.15,90,000/- before this Court. On the instructions of her client she submits that the said amount can be allowed to be withdrawn by the Respondent / Wife. She further submits that before the Family Court, Bandra, Mumbai, the Petition filed by the Respondent is pending and in the said Petition, certain documents are taken by the Respondent / Wife. 3.

Suffice would be the purpose, if the Petition is disposed of with the following directions.

The Writ Petition is disposed of with the following directions :- a).

The impugned order dated 6 October 2022 will remain in force till the disposal of M.J. Petition No.2515 of 2017. b).

The amount deposited by the Petitioner/ Husband before this Court being a sum of Rs.15,90,000/-, along with accrued interest, is allowed to be withdrawn by the Respondent / Wife.

c).

M.J. Petition No.2515 of 2017 pending before the Family Court, Bandra, Mumbai is hereby expedited. The Family Court, Bandra, Mumbai to make an endeavour to dispose of the 2/3

said M.J. Petition within a period of eight weeks from today. d).

The parties are hereby directed that they will not seek unnecessary adjournment before the Family Court, Bandra, Mumbai.

In view of this order passed, Interim Application (Stamp) No.8941 of 2024 is also disposed of.

All parties to act on the authenticated copy of this order.
