THURSDAY, 5TH MARCH, 2015 P.C. :

Leave to amend to delete the name of the prosecutrix. Amendment to be carried out forthwith.

At the outset, learned Counsel seeks leave to withdraw this application, as this Court is inclined to expedite the trial of the applicant i.e. Special Case No. 483 of 2014, pending before the Special Court for Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 at Fort, Greater Bombay.

Considering the charges levelled against the applicant and the fact that the main witnesses in the said case, are the complainant and the victim girl, the trial Court is directed to hear and decide the case as expeditiously as possible and in any event, within a period of two months from the receipt of this order.

In the meantime, if, for no fault of the applicant, the trial does not conclude within the said period, the applicant is at liberty to renew his application for bail after two months.

Application is accordingly disposed of as withdrawn with the aforesaid directions.

Registry to communicate this order to the concerned Court by fax, forthwith.
